You Just Don't know It Chapter 53 Part 2

*She pouted and he almost caved, but just then the pastor said, "I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride." Claire's eyes sparkled with tears as Kevin raised her veil. She raised a hand and stroked a finger under his eyes, wiping away the tears that were gathering. For a moment, he stared at her, love brilliant in his hazel eyes, and then he tilted her chin up with a finger and brought his mouth slowly, softly to her lips, eyes fluttering closed. The congregation cheered and applauded, but neither of them noticed. Four hours, a receiving line, dancing, and a huge buffet table later, the reception was winding down. Claire and Kevinhad gone over to look at their gift's, Joe and Holly were packing the gift's into the car as Kevin and Claire finished with then and Amy and Nick were splitting time between helping clean up and kissing in the corner. Claire, seven months pregnant and exhausted by the day's events, then sat in a chair in the corner, her heels kicked off and her white wedding maternity dress laying over her rounded stomach Kevin, who had proven himself a nervous and protective father-to-be, hovered nearby, folding the tablecloths his mother handed him. Suddenly, Claire cried out, Claire: "Kevin!" Kevin: (Instantly worried, he rushed over to her.) What's wrong? Claire: Nothing," (she whispered, squeezing his hand) "He's moving." *As Kevin knelt at her side, she took his hand and placed it on the side of her swollen stomach. Claire: "Feel that?" *In moments, tears were gleaming in Kevin's eyes. Kevin: Yes, Yes, I feel it. *He looked up at her as the tears trailed down his cheeks. Kevin: That's m-my son moving? *Claire nodded, glowing, and he lay his cheek against her stomach. She stroked a hand through his hair as he sang soft lullabies to his unborn sun, lips moving against the fabric of his wife's dress. A few long moments later, he leaned up and kissed Claire, passion and tenderness flowing through his touch. Kevin: I've never seen you more beautiful than you are right now, Claire. Oh, I love you. Claire: I love you, too, Kevin. Nick: (Across the room, he grumbled) "Amy, I'm jealous." Amy: (She looked where he was staring and saw Kevin and Claire sharing a loving kiss, his hand caressing her baby hump) You're not the only one. Nick: (He wrapped his arms around her from behind and nuzzled her neck). I want your ring on my finger, and I want to see mine on yours." (He pressed himself against her back and sighed onto her skin) I'm so jealous it hurts. Why do we have to be so young? Amy: (She turned to face him, ringing her arms around his neck.) Because it gives us more time together. Soon, Nick, soon. Nick: "4 years," (he declared, and she looked at him quizzically.) "I know we should wait longer, you won't even be twenty yet, but I don't care. I'm marrying you on my twentieth birthday. Just under 4 years from now." Amy: "Where's my engagement ring, boy?" (She was playing with him, but her eyes burned with joy.) Nick: At home in my dresser drawer. Amy: What?" Nick: I've had it for a few months. It's in my drawer. But you don't get it until I find a really spectacular way to do it. A way you'll never forget." Amy: All you have to do is kiss me when you give it to me. Your kisses are unforgettable." *He kissed her sweetly, lips pressing against hers for a long, warm moment. Nick: Life's going to be okay for us, you know that?" Amy: I know it (she breathed.) Of course I know it. ---------------------------------- Hope You Like it :) Comment Rate and Subscribe ... more homework OMG i think i have more homework in the first two weeks than i did all year last year :P Song: say it again - Marie Digby :) i love her... i really started lkistening to her when i saw that the jonas brothers were subscribed to her :P haha oh well
